

Celebrating the life of Samuel C. Mohamed (04-16-1919 – 12-08-2014) Samuel C. Mohamed was born in Michigan City, Indiana to the loving parents of Dave and Nagla Mohamed. After finishing High school Sam joined the United States Army and toured several countries North Africa, Sicily, England , France, Belgium, Luxemburg and Germany. He served during World War II with General Patton. Assigned the 82nd Armored Division Reconnaissance Battalion. While serving in the Army, Sam was wounded and lost his left eye.
Sam Moved to Micco, Florida in 1963 from Indiana. He worked for many years at TWA Airlines Space Center. He enjoyed fishing and boating near his home in Micco. He belonged to The Veterans of Foreign War (V.F.W. Post 10210) and was the Post Trustee. He use to host many ice-cream socials, call bingo and help raise money by organizing social events for them.
Sam leaves to mourn his loving daughter Leslie Bishop and her husband Bob of Melbourne, FL; two grandchildren Shaun Bishop of Louisville, Colorado and Seth Bishop of Melbourne,Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife Emily; six brothers Aleck, John, Leonard, Donald, Eugene, and Jesse; three sisters Jean Mazzaia, Virginia Wekseleblatt, and Emily Jezzeny.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 20, 2014 beginning at 10:00am at Fountainhead Funeral Home Chapel.
