Sandra (Sandy) Ferguson (69), a longtime resident of the Space Coast, passed away on December 11, 2023, after a long illness. As her illness progressed, she received loving care from her dear friends John Sherman and Joshua Wagers. Pre-deceasing her were her parents, Harold and Mary Lewis, and her husbands Michael Gonzalez, Gayther Crowder, and Douglas Ferguson. She is survived by her children, Michelle Gonzalez (Georgia) and Brian Crowder (Kansas), her grandchildren Mary McCall (Colorado), Elias McCall (New Jersey), and Maximus McCall (Georgia), and her brother, Rick Lewis (Florida) along with many friends in the Happy Acres Mobile Home Park (Melbourne).
Sandy requested no service, but as she was a life-long animal lover and “mommy” to seven cats, it would please her to know that any donations in her memory were being sent to The Humane Society of South Brevard County (2600 Otter Creek Lane, Melbourne FL 32940.
