Victoria Amy Basakli

It is with Great Sadness we share the passing of Victoria Basakli on August 13th, 2024, 54 years old. Victoria was born November 27, 1969 to her loving parents Sergio and Erminia Pertrot in Brooklyn NY. Victoria went with her parents and brother to live in Italy for a few years when she was very little. But she spent most of her early life in the New York and NJ Region and went to catholic school. Her catholic education fostered a beautiful faith for her. After her catholic education she studied and became a hairdresser. It was during these years she used her creativity and talent to make others feel their very best.

Victoria moved to Palm Bay Florida in her 20s and found the love of her life Kemal Basakli. They soon after married on September 30, 1997. During their 27 years of marriage they had three amazing children. Victoria loved them all endlessly. She was a devoted wife and mother. She truly adored her children. Her favorite line when she spoke of her children was always,” I’d do anything for my kiddos they are my whole world! I adore them so much and I love them bunches forever.”

Victoria made sure to attend every event all three of her children had at school. She happily attended basketball games to watch the dance team, volleyball games, graduations, recitals, and too many to mention. You could always hear her cheering for her kiddos from the audience. She was so very proud of all three children.

Victoria loved the holidays with her family, she enjoyed decorating for the holidays for the people that mattered most to her. Watching movies with any family that she could was an entire event. She cherished every moment of that time with them. She lovingly cared for her grandson Giovanni, making memories any chance she could with him.

Victoria had a heart that loved and cared for so many in her very special way. If she loved you, you were blessed by her fabulous home cooked Italian food. Her recipes are a true treasure to her family and friends. She lifted your spirit by always cheering you on and feeding you.

Victoria Basakli is survived by her dedicated husband, Kemal Basakli (Husband), her loving sons

Sergio Basakli (oldest child), Nicholas Basakli (Middle child), and her beautiful daughter

Asiye Basakli (youngest child), treasured grandchildren Giovanni Faulknor (First Grandchild),

Khyson Reynolds (Second grandchild, coming new baby February 15th 2025), Erminia Pertot (mother), George Pertot (Brother) Tina Pertot (Sister in-law) , Jaedah Goulbourne, (daughters best friend, Victoria’s second daughter), Karen Jacob (Victoria’s Bestfriend/Sister), Karen Jacob (Victoria’s Bestfriend/Sister , they grew up together since teenagers) Davion Reynolds (Daughter’s beloved boyfriend)

A Celebration of Life for Victoria will be held Monday, September 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
