Palm Bay
William “Bill” E. Hinson, 84, a great man and devoted grandfather, died January 1st, 2012. Bill was born in Rock Hill, SC and came to Florida in 1978 from Mississippi. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for 31 years and retired as a Master Chief. He retired from the city of Palm Bay where he worked as Support Services Director and also in Public works. One of his passions was volunteering his time, especially in the schools of his grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his wife Patricia C. Hinson, his son William E. Hinson, III and his wife Kathleen; his daughters, Karen A Sweiton and her husband Walter “Lee”, and Cynthia D. Williams and her husband Jerry; his grandchildren Jessie, Nikki, and Will; and his great-grandchildren Joey, Madison, and Micah.
A visitation will be held from 2-3p.m. Monday at Fountainhead Funeral Home. Services will follow at 3p.m., with committal and military honors at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
