Winifred Cabell (Dotson) Paxton

As you’ve probably learned by now, our dear Winifred Cabell (Dotson) Paxton passed away on May 2, 2018. Your support, kindness, and condolences have meant so much to us during this time.

Winifred went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018. She had been residing in Palm Bay, Florida with her daughter Sharon, son-in-law Paul, and Granddaughter Bethany.

Winifred was born in Summersville, West Virginia on September 19th, 1933, and was preceded in death by her husband Lee and eldest daughter Betty June. She is survived by a daughter Sharon and her husband Paul; son Douglas and wife Nicole; grandchildren Bethany Mullen and husband Nick, Jeremy Leon Toler and wife Tammie, Jennifer Belcher and husband Joshua, Adam Paxton and Mark Paxton; great grandchildren Quinton Toler and Elijah Toler; and many other relatives, mostly in the state of West Virginia.

Winifred was of the Catholic Faith and was still upon her passing.

Winifred had spent most of her life as a seamstress making beautiful things with her hands. She enjoyed her flowers, watching birds, shopping, watching sports on tv, and sitting on her front porch watching the sun rise. Winifred will be remembered for her kindness to others, her cooking, her door being always open to everyone, and her love of family and friends.

Following with Winifred's wishes, there will be a private cremation and services with immediate family. She will then return home with her daughter and her family.
