Barbara J. Schaffer

Born in North East, Pa. on March 25, 1931, she was the step daughter of the late Perry Tate and daughter of the late Lutie (Tarr) Tate.

She was a graduate of Millcreek High School.

She was formerly a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. She loved arts, crafts and baking. She enjoyed making artificial flower arrangements.

Barbara was preceded in death by a son, Eric P. Schaffer.

Survivors include her husband, Carl H. Schaffer and her daughter, Carla J. Schaffer both of Palm Harbor, FL. Also surviving is her grand-dog, Bailey Schaffer.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Avenue) on Thursday, August 30 from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel there on Friday at 10 am with Rev. Bob Lewis officiating.

Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
