Michael J. O'Neill

Michael graduated from Iona College with a degree in Marketing and received his M.B.A. in Business Administration from the City University of New York. Mike proudly attended O.C.S. and served as an officer in the Navy from 1957 to 1960. He also had a long and distinguished career with the American Tobacco Company.

Michael was born in the Bronx, N.Y. on January 29, 1936 and was happily living in Palm Harbor, Florida at the time of his death. He was a proud Irish American who loved life, sports and most of all his family and friends. Mike lived every day like it was a gift and a celebration, large and loud!

Michael leaves behind his best friend and wife, Maryanne O’Neill, his children, Michael and James O’Neill, Maureen Masse and her husband Charles, Paula Coll and her husband Jim, Mandy Wittschen and her husband David and Kathleen Anderson and her husband Billy. Michael was also blessed with 8 grandchildren, Sarah and her fiancée Nick, Edward, Conor, Kathleen, Lauren, Cameron, Jacob and Travis and he adored them all.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Michael’s name to Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation in Tampa, Florida.
