Walz, Michael G., 89, of Palm Harbor, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA and came to the area in 1973. He was a veteran of WW II and served with the US Navy in the South Pacific. Michael was preceded in death by a son, Dennis. He is survived by 2 sons, Michael and David Walz; daughter, Barbara Idles; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 9 AM on Monday, March 12, 2012 followed by services at 10 AM at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 2550 Highlands Blvd. North, Palm Harbor.
