Catrenia relocated to Lancaster CA in 1986. She went on to attend AVC and CSUN to obtain a degree in Music. She was a member of Callie Moore and Friends Choir and many other prestigious choirs in the Antelope Valley. Catrenia spoke and sang in many different languages (Spanish, German, Italian, French, etc.) For the last ten years of her life she worked for the Department of Social Services. In her later years she submitted her life to God. She was a mother figure to her nieces and nephews.
Caterina was preceded in death by her mother and father, Jimmie and Jimmy Jones, sister Brenda Johnson, brothers Larry Joe Moore and Robert Jones and a niece Tyneisha Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings; Jerry Anne Jordan, Loretta Brooks, Tony”Ray”Miller, Alma Jones-Gahie, Shirley Jones, and Melissa Long. Many nieces and nephews will miss her dearly as will a host of family and friends.
