Charles Ray Davis

In loving memory of Charles Ray Davis whom we lost on November 28, 2022. He is walking the streets of gold with our Lord Jesus.He will be greatly missed. Charles lived his life to the fullest. He's been to places around the world that most of us can only dream about going. He shared his memories' with his family and friends like such a loving and caring man he was. He received a purple heart in the military because he threw himself in front of fellow soldier to save his life. Charles Davis was strong mentally and physically. The intelligence he had always amazed us. His Father showed him how to work on cars. It became his hobby, to a fulltime job. He eventually retired from being a mechanic. His other hobbies were gardening and taking care of his house plant. He had such beautiful plants. We all enjoyed them. He loved to watch things grow especially the grandbabies. His favorite meat was baked chicken. His favorite side was potatoes, onion string beans and bacon. His favorite dessert was egg pie. Cooking was another hobby he enjoyed doing. He was always checking on family, making sure they're taking care of. He loved his friend's. It would take me forever to name them all. He had so many. I'll mention a few, just know he loved and appreciated you all, Chubby Tuner ,Gary Stewart, Chubby Liking, Ricky Campbell, Enoch Tuner, Hollis Bates, Benny James the list goes on. He also loved his pets Bella and Leo. He had many before, but these two seem like they lived forever. We love you soo much. He is no longer suffering.

He is survived by, his wife Shirley Davis. Step daughters, Shirletha, Ariel, and Shana who love him very much. Let's not forget the 3 grandbabies. He loved Charles. He also has 3 sons, Charles Davis, Darnell Dill, DeShawn Dill, and grandbabies by his son's. He is also survived by his sister Linda Davis, Brother. He was an Uncle to Tyrone Davis, Anita Davis, Stephanie Davis, and Leo Davis. He is Preceded in death by his Mother Larua Bell Davis, Father Andrew Davis, brothers William Davis, Joseph Davis, sisters Vivian Davis, Laura Cain, Annie Johnson, and Jesse Woodard
