February 6, 1953 – May 27, 2025
Keith Bruce Whitman—husband, father, grandfather, and patriot—passed into eternity on May 27, 2025, at the age of 72.
Born on February 6, 1953, in Flint, Michigan, Keith dedicated his life to serving his country. He joined the United States Air Force on August 17, 1971, and, shortly thereafter, married his high school sweetheart, Nancy, on October 7, 1972. Together, they built a life serving their country in the United States Air Force.
Throughout his 23-year Air Force career, Keith served with honor and distinction. He and Nancy raised three children while being stationed at bases across the globe, including in Michigan, Germany, Florida, Ohio, Spain, and California. After retiring from active duty in 1995, Keith continued his service as a civil servant, remaining steadfast in his commitment to the Air Force mission and community.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his daughter, Alyssa; his son, Jason; 12 cherished grandchildren; his sister, Melinda; his brother, Aaron; his sister Carolyn; his sister, Jody; and many extended family members.
In his later years, Keith found peace and salvation through trusting Christ as Savior. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jeremy. Now in Heaven—a sweet reunion.
Keith’s legacy of patriotism lives on in all who knew and loved him.
