

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955, where he became a barber. In 1954, he married his wife Jean (Boschi). In 1958, he started his own business as a barber in Malvern, PA at Tony’s Barber Shop. He was a barber for 50 years and continued cutting hair after retirement at his home.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, gardening, bird watching, cutting wood, and cutting grass at his home for more than 60 years.
He is survived by his wife Jean (Boschi) of 66 years, his sons Anthony (Donna) DiMonte Jr. and David (Wendy) DiMonte, his brother Fred DiMonte, his sister Evelyn Barbato, and predeceased by his daughter Dr. Diane DiMonte, his sister Virginia Boschi, and granddaughter Michelle DiMonte.
He has seven grandchildren; Nicole, David, Anthony III, Michael, Timothy, Mark, and Rachel, and eight great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends can call Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at St. Norbert’s Catholic Church, 50 Leopard Road, Paoli, PA 19301, at 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at St. Monica’s Cemetery, 1155 Old Lancaster Road, Berwyn, PA 19312.
