Casey Leigh Passic, age 48, passed away on September 13 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. She is survived by her parents, Renee and Arthur Passic, her brother, Andrew Passic and her nephews AJ Passic and Preston Passic.
Even though Casey was a special needs child, she was an overachiever during her school years and an inspiration to all who knew her. After graduating from Marple Newtown Schools she attended an adaptive program at NYIT located in Long Island, NY where she studied eldercare.
On her return home she volunteered at Devon Manor and later became an on-sight hospice volunteer touching the lives of many.
She moved from her parent’s home to an apartment in Wayne, PA and lived with her roommate Tacy and their cat Buddy for 10 years, before returning home because of health issues.
For the past eight years Casey has resided in a community-based home in Narberth through Devereux Advanced Behavioral Services. She worked in their “The Daisy Shop” for many of those years where she enjoyed making flower arrangements.
Casey loved shopping and dining out (especially at the Great American Pub on Monday evenings) where her smile and red hair were welcomed by all.
Words cannot express how much she will be missed.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 20th at 12:30 pm precisely at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia followed by luncheon at Alleva Funeral Home in Paoli. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Devereux Advanced Behavioral, Pennsylvania.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.AllevaFuneralHome.com for the Passic family.
