Chuck was born just 1 year after his parents, Vincent and Lena, opened the doors of their long-planned funeral home. Feeling destined to be a funeral director and work with his dad in the family business, he helped wherever he was needed from a very early age. Vincent passed away suddenly in 1975 at the age of 52, the same year that Chuck finished mortuary school. Chuck returned home to help run the family business, and later partnered with brother, Steve and Mother, Lena.
Chuck was diagnosed with a rare neurological disease in 1982 called CIDP. He continued to work as his health declined, but eventually retired to focus on his health.
He is survived by his loving wife Judith (nee Blair) of Devon, his devoted children Neill (Elizabeth) of Wilton, CT, Rebecca (Mike) of West Chester, Caitlin of Paoli, Samantha of Paoli, Alex-Michael (Julianna) of Bryn Mawr, former spouse, Carolyn (Jim) of Paoli and grandchildren Arwen, Seamus, Nathan, Mason, Vincenzo & Luciano, his brother Stephen (Deb), his sister Susan (Ken), nephews Ken (Judi), Brandon (Michelle) & Gabe, cousins Maryanne, Michael (Wendi), Marissa, & brother-in-law Ricky. He is predeceased by his infant granddaughter Rosalena.
Chuck graduated from Conestoga High School, class of 1972. He attended Eastern University and graduated first in his class from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He was active in numerous professional and community organizations.
