David P. Herbster

David P. Herbster, 72, of Exton, PA, passed away on Monday April 1, 2013. David was the loving husband of Kathleen (nee Bauer) and was the son of the late Parke and Ethel (nee Bingman) Herbster. David was born on February 16, 1941. He graduated from Middleburg HS and went on to earn an Accounting Degree from Elizabethtown College in 1964. He was a CPA with Price Waterhouse & later Kidde, Inc. for over 24 years before starting his own consulting practice in 1990. Among his board associations, David was passionate about his role on the Board of Directors at Liberty Lutheran Services. His great loves were his family and his church. Surviving are 3 daughters: Melissa (Marty) Schweiter, Katherine Miller (Mike) & Julianne Leighton; 6 grandchildren: Chloe Miller; Bailey, Parke & Logan Schwieter and Mia & David Leighton. Also surviving are 2 siblings: Janice (Max) Fetterolf & Ruth Ann (Donald) Walters. A celebration of David's life was held at St Luke Lutheran Church: 203 N. Valley Forge Rd. Devon, PA, 19333 on Sat. April 6 @ 11AM.
