Gabriel A. Menkin

beloved Dad, Grandfather, Husband, and all-around great guy.

Gabe is survived by his daughter Marcia Foster, her husband Dr. Barry Foster, two grandchildren, Ryan and Carly Foster, his son Marc Menkin and his wife Darlynne Reyes Menkin. He is also survived by two half-brothers, Valy Menkin and Paul Menkin. Gabe was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Menkin, his sister Lucy Menkin, his father Valy Menkin and his mother, Miriam Friedman Menkin.

Gabe was a teacher and English Literature Professor at West Chester University and Camden County Community College for over 35 years. He earned a B.A. At Temple University, a Master’s degree at The University of Kansas, and a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. He was an avid fan of Phillies baseball, attending several World Series games in 1980. He also loved Big 5 college basketball, the Sixers, and the Eagles. He loved to travel the world with his beloved wife Charlene, visiting Prince Edward Island, Hawaii, Bermuda, The Bahamas, Europe, California, and Sanibel Island among other places.
