He is survived by his sister Susan Jacques Pierson (Bill), his brother Reed Bradley Jacques his nephew, Michael Brian Reese (Liz) and his grandniece and nephew, Elsa and Jake. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Harvey Jacques and his mother Nancy LaSor Jacques with whom he lived for many years.
George was a talented musician. He played guitar and sang beautifully. He loved animals, gardening, hiking, and reading, especially biography and history. George was an accomplished runner and participated in numerous marathons during the course of his life. He often placed among the top finishers in his age group.
During the last years of his life, he drove a bus for Rover and was loved and appreciated by his regular passengers.
Interment will be private.
