Joan Giovannini Cabral

From a young age, became a lifetime dog lover. During her school days, she was a softball player, played the sax in the school band, marble champ at Atlantic City, and frequently spent time dancing at American Bandstand. She went on to be part of the first graduating class of Conestoga High School.

Elated to be reunited with her beloved husband, who never ceased to hold her heart close since she first met the Navy Seaman. Their life together led to ownership of Main Line Disposal, Schwinn bicycle shop, lawnmower shop, Lincoln Log homes, as well as postmaster of Frazer Postal Of ice. Together they enjoyed boating, ballroom and latin dancing, rving, gardening, and crafting. Many pig roasts and holidays were hosted at their home of sixty-two years.

Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, who resided with and cared for her the past eleven years. Also surviving are two granddaughters, their husbands, and two great-grandsons.

Joan’s final wish was that services be private with her daughter and son-in-law. Rite has been performed by St. Norbert Church, where she took her vow of marriage in the original chapel. Her birthplace has been honored. Burial has taken place at Philadelphia Memorial Park.

Understanding is most appreciated, with the promise of upholding the sacred wishes of my mother, that she now has freedom and peace eternally.
