Katie Nissman

Katie was born on December 5, 1977 in Philadelphia PA, and was the beloved daughter to her mother, Mary Gane and stepfather Jim Gane. She graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School in 1995. She continued her education, graduating from Immaculata University with a degree in Marketing.

Katie was one of a kind, beautiful, strong, sassy, funny, fiercely loyal and so much more to all those she loved. She lived her life to the fullest, spending all of her time with her kids, family, friends, and her cats. This is where she felt most comfortable and loved. She fought a long, brave battle and maintained her confidence, wit, sense of humor and style throughout. Katie lit up every room she entered.

Katie is survived by her children Jeff and Avery Nissman, parents Jim and Mary Gane, siblings Chris Doerr and his wife Sue, Rob Doerr and his wife Tracy, nephews Jakob and Gavin and niece Zoe.

A visitation is scheduled for 8:30 AM – 9:45 AM on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church at 50 West Walker Rd. Wayne, PA 19087, followed by a 10:00 AM mass, and interment at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens at 352 South Gulph Rd. King of Prussia, PA 19406. All are invited to a celebration of life immediately following internment at the Waynesborough Country Club, 440 Darby Paoli Rd, Paoli, PA 19301.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Main Line Hospice Program, 940 Radnor Chester Rd. Radnor, PA 19087.
