In 1959 Leone moved to the United States residing in Plainfield, NJ and East Lyme, CT before moving to Chester County, PA where she lived in Paoli, Wayne and eventually Malvern. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and was an active member of St. Norbert’s Catholic Church and The Daylesford Abbey. She was a member of the Knitting group and worked on the Daylesford Abbey’s Annual Art Show. Mostly she was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, knitting and cooking. She loved her kids, grandchildren and friends.
Leone was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Gregory C. Kennedy. She was also predeceased by her brother Richard Gardner. Leone is survived by her children William (Diana) of Harrisburg, NC, Carolyn of Malvern, PA and Elaine (Mark) Reichard of Groton, CT; along with grandchildren Joseph (Elizabeth)Kennedy of Baton Rouge, LA, Samantha Kennedy of Charlotte, NC, Harrison and Gordon Reichard of Groton, CT. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral mass on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM from St. Norbert’s Catholic Church, 50 Leopard Rd., Paoli PA 19301. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM in the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Project, Development Department, 1630 South Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146.
