M. Nora Pizzi

Nora Pizzi, 78 of Downingtown, PA passed peacefully Monday, December 29, 2025. Born September 12, 1947, in Coatesville. After graduating from Bishop Shanahan High School, she went on to work at Devereux where she remained for over 30 years as an Executive Assistant until her retirement in 2017.

Preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ralph Pizzi and Mother Katherine Davis, Father, Chester Davis and best friend Susan DiSciullo.

Survived by her children, Josephine and Jason Byrne (Daughter and Son-in-law) of Brixham, England. Michael and Jaime Pizzi (Son and Daughter-in-law) of Malvern, PA and Judith Pizzi (Daughter) of Downingtown, PA.

She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Julianna, Lauren and Nico who were the loves of her life.

Remembered as an amazing Mother, Grandmother, and a great friend, she was known for her good cooking, especially her ‘world famous’ potato salad. When not reading or going to her favorite places, Rehoboth Beach or Maine, Nora enjoyed relaxing in her chair watching the Food Network, Hallmark Movies and most importantly, NCIS.

A visitation for Nora will be held Friday, January 9, 2026, from 9:30 – 11:00 am and followed by a funeral mass, both taking place at Our Lady of the Assumption, 35 Old Eagle School Road, Strafford, PA 19087. A burial service will take place following the Funeral Mass at Calvary Cemetery, 2025 Old Gulph Rd, Villanova, PA 19085.
