Margaret B. Andersen

Margaret Louise (nee Buehler) Andersen, 94, of Berwyn, PA passed away on Sunday June 12 2016. Margaret was the wife of the late A. Eric Andersen for 39 years. Margaret was born in Springfield (Del. Co.), PA and graduated from Springfield HS before attending the Philadelphia Conservatory of Music; studying under Madam Olga Samaroff, Vincent Persichetti and others. She continued to teach piano at the conservatory after graduating until she retired to raise her family. Margaret enjoyed traveling with her husband and was an active member of many local garden & quilt clubs for many years. She will be missed by her 2 loving children: Karen (Doug) Karp & Neil (Patricia) Andersen; 5 grandchildren: Kyle (Caitlyn), Sarah and Emily Andersen & David and Melissa Karp and 1 great grandson: Ryan Andersen. Also survived by 2 siblings: Janet (the late James) Donahue and A. David (the late Patricia) Buehler. Relatives and friends are invited to help celebrate her life at 1130AM on Thursday June 16, 2016 at The Baptist Church in the Great Valley: 945 N. Valley Forge Rd. Devon, PA.
