Margaret R. Battafarano

Margaret Rose Maguire Battafarano was born in Atlantic City to the late Matthew Edwin Maguire and the late Brigit Catherine (McGilley) Maguire. and attended Holy Spirit High School. She graduated from Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital Nursing Program. Her life was dedicated to her family and to her Catholic faith. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dr. Nicholas C. Battafarano, her daughter Therese Battafarano and her sister, Nora Pohl. She is survived by her children Kathleen Abate, Dr. Daniel (Karen) Battafarano, Dr. Nicholas (Jean) Battafarano, Janet (Randy) Waring, Dr. Richard (Mary Kay) Battafarano, and Thomas (Jane) Battafarano, 26 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing which will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Monica Church, 63 Main Ave, Berwyn, Pennsylvania 19312. A funeral mass at St. Monica Church will occur Friday, June 17, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 11:55 AM. A burial at Calvary cemetery in Conshohocken will occur Friday, June 17, 2022, from 12:15 PM to 12:40 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Saint Monica Church.
