Mary Patricia Latoff

Born Mary Patricia Cassidy on March 1st, 1956 to late parents Margaret (Bernice) Cassidy and James L. Cassidy Jr. at Nazareth Hospital in Northeast Philadelphia, Mary Pat was one of six children.

Mary graduated class of ‘74 from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls’ High School in Philadelphia. She worked as an executive secretary before becoming a devoted mother and homemaker. Mary was proud of her Irish heritage and of being a native to East Falls, Pennsylvania. She was a caring and compassionate mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who was rich in faith and in love for her family.

Mary was the widow of David T. Latoff Esq. who passed away in 2015. She is also predeceased by her sister, Eileen M. (Cassidy) Marcanello, who passed in 2019.

Mary is survived by and deeply missed by her son, David C. Latoff, husband of Brianna (Reinstadtler) Latoff, her two grandchildren- David K. and Corinne M. Latoff, and her beloved granddog, Duke. Other survivors include her brother- James J. Cassidy, sisters- Margaret “Peg” Cassidy, Kathleen Cassidy, and Donna (Cassidy) Leisch, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to St. Denis Catholic Church, 2401 St Denis Ln Havertown, PA 19083 on Monday, January 8th 2024 for her visitation at 10 AM, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
