

Nancy attended college at Carnegie Mellon (’69) in Pittsburgh, PA, earning a degree in biochemical engineering, and later completed her business degree at Harvard Business School (’78) in Boston, MA. Her professional career focused on business development and strategic planning.
In 2002, Nancy married her beloved husband Russell W. Wilson, retired Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy, and fellow Harvard Business School Alumnus. They spent their retirement traveling, enjoying time with friends, and serving their community.
Nancy’s charitable work was her lifeblood. Her dedication to the Lion’s Club, the Chester County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, the Delaware Valley Association for Macular Disease and the Community, Youth and Woman’s Alliance are only a few of the many organizations that benefited from her leadership and funding. Nancy was an active member of her church, St. Peter’s Church of the Great Valley, through which she was devoted to multiple charitable causes.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and husband, and is survived by her brother, Robert D. Cunningham, daughter, Erin (Johnson) Kirsch, son-in-law Douglas Kirsch, and her grandchildren Ryan and Kira.
Internment services will be at held at Arlington National Cemetery. Donations may be made in her honor to the Chester County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CCABVI) or the Community Youth and Women’s Alliance, Inc. (CYWA) both of Coatesville, PA.
