Brown, Nelson C., age 81 of West Chester, PA, on August 30, 2011. Beloved husband of 57 years to Margaret “Peg” (nee Wallace), father to Jeffrey (Eileen) and the late Pamela Meyers (Jeffrey), grandfather to Alex, Jay, Peter and Sam. Nelson was born and raised in North Brookfield MA, graduated from Dartmouth College in 1951, and the University of New Hampshire in 1956. He served four years in the Air Force at a base in Newfoundland during the Korean War. He had a 35 year career at Bell Atlantic, retiring as Assistant Secretary in 1991. He volunteered at Paoli Memorial Hospital for 22 years and had over 3500 hours of service. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Tuesday September 6th at 11:00 AM at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 761 S. Valley Forge Rd. in Wayne, PA.
