Dear Geoff, Everly and Aidan. We are sorry for your loss. Patty was a wonderful, loving and caring person. Part of Patty will stay with us in our memories forever and Everly and Aidan are great reminder of her legacy. Hi Patty-
I know I never called you just to talk and catch up.  When we got together we simply picked up there and all was good.  We were together during the years when we were learning to be married, dig a home out of layers of ancient flooring, have children, respond to curveballs, be lifelong learners and create family memories.  I loved our time together.  You took your intelligence and passion with you everywhere you went.  Whether we were camping, talking at book (wine) club, grilling in the back yard or vacationing, I loved hearing your perspective.  

Looking forward, our families will continue our adventures together.  The adventures will change with the years, just as they had in the past.  I am incredibly sad that I won't see you.  I'll call you and tell you all about it.

Patty had a quiet way about her that was so easy and comfortable to be around.  She knew exactly who she was and never felt the need to be anyone else.  I loved her sense of humor, great big smile, and the way she "rolled" with Geoff...happily letting him take center stage with no threat to her ego.  The care, concern, and love she had for her children reflected the amazing mother that she was.  I admire her courageousness and strength as she fought to beat her cancer and do all that she could to stay here with her family.   We will all miss Patty very much and will do the best we can to honor her and keep her memory alive.

I remember when we had dinner at Buddakhan when the two of you were dating and the five star smile on her face when she claimed you as her best friend.  I remember that same beautiful smile at her bridal shower when her friend read the poem about your first meeting at the Irish Pub line and your ensuing courtship.  I remember you, Patty, and Everly being at our house when Patty was expecting Aiden and us weighing in on her interest in naming him Oliver. I remember talking with Patty at your house at one summer picnic about family and her focus on devoting herself to you all. 

May her love and strength continue to shine on your family.

Patty was a beautiful person with a wonderful spirit.  Our thoughts and prayer are with Geoff and the kids as well as her parents, brothers and extended family.  Her loss is difficult to fathom but we will remember her with love and appreciation for having known her.

Patty was one of those rare people who always had a calmness about her that was so refreshing. She was beautiful inside and out. I am so very sorry for your loss Geoff, Everly and Aidan and the rest of the family. She is surely watching over you all.

All our hearts ache for you and your family during this time. Processing and Accepting any of this truly rips at your heart but as one of the MANY she touched with her warm smile and welcoming HEART, I can say she was a GIFT a TRUE GIFT and we will forever hold her close to my heart.

Heaven has truly gained an Angel.  Patty's smile, good heart and genuine good will towards all showed us all the Angel Patty walked among us.  Our family truly love her.
