Ronald Richard Santoro

Ronald R. Santoro, 76, of West Chester, PA, passed away on Tuesday April 14, 2015. Ron was the loving husband of Marie (nee Zdan) and son of the late Salvatore and Carmela (nee Biondi) Santoro. Ron was born on October 31, 1938. He graduated from Landsdown HS and served in the US Navy. He went on to earn a degree from St. Joseph’s University in Accounting. He worked at General Electric for over 38 years. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Springford Country Club. He was a sports enthusiast and a huge Phillies fan. He was even considered and tried out for the team in the 1950s. His great loves were his family and his beloved golden retriever, Lucie. Surviving are 2 children: Christina (Tom) Simpson & Michael Santoro & 2 grandchildren: Madeline and Nathaniel. Ron was predeceased by a brother: Anthony Santoro. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 6-8PM at Alleva Funeral Home, Inc.: 1724 E. Lancaster Ave, Paoli, PA. A mass of Christian burial will begin at 1030AM on Wednesday April 22, 2015 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church: 1325 E. Boot Road West Chester, PA 19380. Interment to follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
