Todd is survived by his loving wife Jill (née Ringler); his children Jessica, Tyler, Kristen and Sal
and his parents Sal and Kathleen Monastero, his siblings Kimberly Stanton, Craig Monastero
and Courtney Roc. Todd grew up in Berwyn and graduated from Conestoga High School in
1988. He then earned a BS degree from Villanova University.
Todd was a devoted husband and father. He married his wife Jill in 1993. Together they raised
four beautiful children who were actively involved in their school activities and sporting teams.
Todd was a varsity basketball player at Conestoga and became an avid golfer also. He taught
his children to enjoy and participate in sporting events and passed on to them a lifelong
fondness for Villanova basketball. In many circles, Todd was considered the #1 Wildcat fan in
Philadelphia.
In addition to being a loyal sports fan Todd had a powerful voice and was frequently asked to
sing the National Anthem at many local gyms and arenas. Amazingly, just last month, Todd
kicked off the Catholic League Basketball City Championship games at the Palestra in
Philadelphia with a tremendous rendition of the National Anthem. This was especially gratifying
to Todd, Jill and his children, since the Palestra is considered to be one of the most famous
gyms the the United States. As always, Todd delivered and received a roaring ovation.
Todd had a successful career in the financial services industry and in the last few years became
a gifted evangelical speaker devoted to bringing listeners to a life changing acceptance of Jesus
as Lord and Savior After learning of his cancer diagnosis in 2015, Todd turned his life over to
our Lord and found a rewarding peace. He gave many speeches over the next three years and
inspired thousands of people in our community with his message of HOPE and to never quit. As
a result of claiming Jesus as his Lord and Savior, Todd spoke about his journey to Heaven and
his powerful message that “He has already won” because of the work that Jesus had already
completed on the cross.
Todd completed his final and most impactful speech in front of 1500 men at the Man Up
Spirituality Conference on March 9, 2019. He received a standing ovation as he proclaimed “I’ve
Already Won”.
A celebration of his life will be held at Hope Community Church, 150 East Beidler Road, King of
Prussia, Pa. 19406 on Saturday, May 4 at 1:00 PM.
