Bill loved to travel, especially if by rail. He also enjoyed summers at the shore, just being with family and friends brought him so much joy. He loved to cook, with his specialties being steaks and ribs on the grill or whipping up a batch of chili or spaghetti for his family to enjoy.
He was a member of the National Association of Railroad Passengers the American Legion and the New England Railroad Club.
