William Zimmer was born on October 18, 1951 in San Diego, CA, to parents Frank Zimmer and Ruth (Hugoboom) Zimmer. He graduated from High School in 1969. He continued his education, graduating from East Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. William went on to establish a career as a Computer Programmer in the Philadelphia, PA area for over 40 years.
He was interested in television programming as well as computers and enjoyed collecting domestic and foreign stamps.
William was preceded in death by his parents Ruth (Hugoboom) Laman & Frank Zimmer and his brother, Robert Francis Zimmer.
William is survived by his daughter Jennifer, and his daughter Chéri Pollack and her spouse David and their children Seth and Nathaniel; and Anita Zimmer, mother of his children. He is also survived by his half-brother, Michael Laman.
