She graduated from Papillion High School in 1957, and later worked as a secretary at Papillion High School. She was actively involved in raising 4 children, gardening, activities at Papillion High School, and babysitting grandkids.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Fritz and Martha Krebs; and sister Ellen Nemec.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert; children, Scott, Sonia (Mike) Spanheimer, Staci (Tim) Geis, Steve; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Marcia (Ted) Matthies, John (Phyllis) Krebs, and Fred (Peggy) Krebs, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Mable Rose, in particular Jennifer and Kim and Hillcrest Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
VISITATION Sunday 3-5pm with VIGIL SERVICE at 5pm at the Mortuary. FUNERAL MASS Monday 10:30am at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Papillion. PRIVATE FAMILY INURNMENT.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Columbkille Catholic Church.
