My condolences to the family  of Mr Beaman.  I had Mr Beaman as an Accounting Professor in the late 80's.  I must say he was my favorite Accounting Professor. Dear Claudia and family--Mike and I are remembering Burwell today.  He was a wonderful colleague and teacher; he even taught me how to be a teacher too.  We had many good times with students in Beta Alpha Psi, to which he committed many years as the faculty VP.  He is the most beloved professor I have known at UNO.  Remember the fun we had together in Hawaii?  Our prayers are with all of you.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I have many fond memories of Mr. Beaman from  his Accounting classes at UNO back in 1990.  He was one of the best and I really enjoyed his classes and learned a great deal from him.  God bless you all during this difficult time.

Beaman Family:  Dr. Beaman was my all time favorite accounting professor at UNO (1973-1975).  The best Income Tax Accounting teacher I've ever met.  His class lectures were always interesting and filled with lots of "farm" stories.  I still use a couple of his lecture jokes to this day.  Please accept my heartfelt sympathies.

We were so sad to hear of Burwell's passing, I remember all the good times I had as a child living next door to Burwell and Claudia what a pair they are, you couldn't ask for better friends, & neighbors they are just great people I love them with all my heart, I know Bill enjoyed working at the beaman house Burwell and Claudia were so kind to him and he loved visiting with them both, We are both amazed with their garden wow if only my garden looked like burwells and caludia's. Claudia, Larry, David, Burwell, Jr. - It was with great sadness that I learned of Burwell's passing.  I remember with fondness the times at the house growing up with Larry and the kindness he showed.  One time I remember is when he, Larry, and I went down to Netawaka to do some stuff at Clarence's house driving in the greenish International pickup.  He was one of my inspirations and I have and always will remember him.  May your faith sustain you in this time of sorrow.
