Chuck was affectionately known as "The Sheriff of Springfield". He loved driving his pickup truck around Springfield checking to make sure all was right within the town and its residents. His grandchildren were the light of his life. Loved maintaining his vehicles and his children's vehicles.
Skip and Bev celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on March 10, 2025. He loved to surprise Bev with gifts when he came home from his work travels.

Survived by loving wife; Bev Cloyd, children; Chuck (Sheryl) Cloyd, Deb (Mike) Lacey, Ken (Sheryl) Cloyd, grandchildren; Jake (Molly) Cloyd, Justin (Rachael) Cloyd, Nicole Cloyd, Ryan Cloyd, Reece Cloyd, Travis Cloyd, great-granddaughters; Eloise Cloyd and Hallie Cloyd.
Skip was truly one of a kind ornery stubborn character, but he will be dearly missed by friends and family.
