

Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, Dianne attended Saint Anthony School (‘55) and Saint Joseph Academy (’59) before moving on to Creighton University. It was there she met her husband, Linus William (“Bill”) Fangman. They married and spent time living in France while Bill served in the U.S. Army before returning to Omaha to raise their family.
A strong and determined woman, Dianne was devoted to her family and her faith. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. She loved to travel, and spent much time organizing family trips around the country. After over 20 years working with the US Postal Service, she retired and made many trips abroad, from Africa to Asia, with her husband. She also had a lifelong love of dogs, especially her beloved Bijou, who remained a faithful companion for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, and her eldest son, Christopher (Sgt USA).
She is survived by her sons: Tony (Lisa) of Omaha, NE; Richard (Jennifer) of Leander, TX; and Matthew (Jennifer) of Round Rock, TX. She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Caroline, Luke, Christopher and Finn.
VISITATION Monday, June 23, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kahler Dolce Mortuary, 441 North Washington Street, Papillion, NE 68046. FUNERAL MASS Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St Columbkille Church, 200 E Sixth St, Papillion, NE 68046. INTERMENT Calvary Cemetery, Omaha.
