

Jean Marie Oxford, a humorous, hard-working, thoughtful, devoted, giving, and kind-hearted soul, passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on May 13, 1951, in Miami, Florida, Jean's life journey took her through Coco Beach and Texas before she made her home in Papillion, Nebraska.
Jean was a devoted mother to her sons, William P. (Jodi) Oxford of Elkhorn, Nebraska, and Anthony J. (Brad Donner Jr.) Oxford of Omaha, Nebraska. She was a proud grandmother to Thailia S. Schroeder, Keenan M. Schroeder, Maira M. Oxford, and Jackson Reemts. Her family also includes her brother Buddy Oxford in Texas, sisters Bonnie Oxford in Texas and Diane Keller in California, along with several nieces and nephews.
Her personal interests included movies, football, shopping, family meals, and she took great joy in bragging about her grandchildren. Jean's community involvement was marked by her generous spirit, as she adopted many families that were in need, spreading love and kindness wherever she went.
Jean's legacy is one of giving, loving, and selflessness, affecting people all across the country. Her impact on those around her was profound and far-reaching.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2725 N. 60th Ave, Omaha, Nebraska 68104.
