I first met Orval in the middle sixties. We were both involved in the Hardware business. In 1968 Orval was a retailer i called on for 10 years.  In that time i was fortunate to be their friend and also to understand the love and care that both of them had for their family. Orval was a lover of the outdoors, and he taught his children to hunt and fish, and i spend time over the years getting to share the joy of hunting with him as well.
 I will remember Orval as a kind person, a person with a mind of his own, and a good father and grandfather. He has taught his family well and they will continue to be the kind of children and grandchildren he would be proud off.

so sorry to all of you on the death of your dad.  He and your mom were a second mom and dad to me.  I loved them both dearly.  I want to remember the good times.  I spent alot of time at your house and it was wonderful even tho at times I was probably a pain in the butt.  God be with you all and take comfort in the fact that mom and dad are togeather again. Our boys and I remember the laughing time we all worked so hard to remove the concrete and fence posts from Barb's old cyclone fence between our yards.  Not as easy as we thought it would be. Missed going to get that "odd item" from the hardware store--you always seemed to have what I needed.

Grandpa, I'm happy we got to visit just before you decided to leave us! Now you are back with your loving wife, our grandma I know you will both be looking down on us! You will be never be forgotten and forever missed.

Rest in peace Grandpa Orval. You will be missed! I'm sorry that I can't come say goodbye...
