Patricia M Jensen

On December 28th, 2022, Patricia (Patti) Mae Stalder-Jensen passed away peacefully at CHI Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 86 years old. Patricia was born in Omaha on February 5th, 1936 to William (Pat) and Nellie McKnight-Stalder. She grew up in a rural area outside of Pawnee City, Nebraska where she had attended a country elementary school. Later on, Patti graduated from Humboldt High School in 1953. Patti loved being an older sister to her siblings Ruth Ann and William Junior.

Patricia was proud of the three children that she had raised, Terrie, Tim, and Troy. She enjoyed raising them in the small country towns of Nebraska. Patti was proud of all the accomplishments that each of her children had throughout their lives. She adored taking her children fishing and camping on the weekends. As Patti’s children began their own families, she found joy in going to visit her children and grandchildren.

On June 30th, 1978, Patricia married Larry Jensen. To this union Larry and Patti spent many years gardening, going to garage sales, and traveling. In the early 80’s Larry and Patti decided to move back to Patti’s birthplace of Omaha, Nebraska. Patti found a love for taking care of plants, especially Aloe Vera Plants. Patricia found it fulfilling to interact with others through her various jobs that she had throughout the years. Even after she retired, she continued to work and volunteer at a local elementary school in Omaha, Nebraska. Through the multitude of jobs Patti held she gained many lifelong friends, with whom she enjoyed talking on the phone with.

Patricia is preceded in death by her Husband: Larry Jensen; Sister Ruth Ann; Infant son Donald; Parents William (Pat) and Nellie.

She is survived by her brother: William J (Grace) Stalder; children: Terrie (Walt) Boring, Tim (Missy) Badberg, Troy (Brooke) Badberg; step-children: Colleen (Mike) Selvage, Nancy (Chris) Nelsen, Paula (Tad) Rezek; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 3 at 10:30 am at Trinity Church, 848 Gold Coast Rd., Papillion, NE. Burial at Table Rock Cemetery, Table Rock, NE. Memorials suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
