

Born on July 2, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio, Raymond was a gentle and hard-working individual whose life was marked by honesty, kindness, and thoughtfulness.
Raymond attended Bowling Green State University, where he met his wife of 62 years, Judith Mae DeChristopher. He dedicated 30 years to Penske Truck Leasing, retiring in 2008 as a Vice President. Upon retirement, Raymond embraced his love for travel and cherished spending time with his three grandchildren.
Raymond's personal interests included singing in numerous church choirs and playing games with friends and family. He was actively involved in his community, serving in various positions at the Trail Riders Ranch retirement community. His deep Christian faith and organized nature were evident throughout his life. Raymond's legacy is one of devotion to family, hard work, and compassion.
The DeChristopher family extends a deep, heartfelt thank you to all who sent cards, prayers, and good thoughts. Your kindness was profoundly appreciated. Raymond will be dearly missed by a very grateful family and many friends whose hearts he touched over the years.
Preceded in death by parents, Richard and Dorothy DeChristopher; brothers, Richard DeChristopher, Joseph DeChristopher, John DeChristopher, Theodore DeChristopher, and sister, Marianne Jones.
Raymond leaves behind his loving wife, Judith Mae DeChristopher; sons, Jon (Karla) DeChristopher and Tod (Andrea) DeChristopher; grandchildren, Lunae, Shawnee, Dakota, Christian, Zachary; sister, Kathleen Gunner, “adopted” son, Darrin Mora; and many other close friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Raymond’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
