

Heaven received another angel, when Alma Louise Stanton, 80, of Paris, went to her heavenly home, on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Brentwood Terrace Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm, Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Tigue officiating. Burial will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, one hour prior to service time, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. Mrs. Stanton was born August 14, 1934 in Wolfe City to A.B. Tiffee and Beaulah Bear Tiffee. She married Floyd Stanton in Lamar County on February 18, 1969. Mrs. Stanton was a very faithful member of Grace Baptist Church in Garland. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Floyd; three brothers and two sisters; two son-in-laws and one grandson, Christopher Williams. Survivors include four daughters, Janice Castle & husband Robert of Bonham, Brenda Holley of Terrell, Alice Emeyabbi & husband Bo Johnston of Arthur City and Frankie Serna of DeSoto; 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; a sister, Marie Ramsey along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Casket bearers will be Ervin Emeyabbi, Jimmy Emeyabbi, Christian Emeyabbi, Derick Holley, Jeremy Holley, DeMarcus Grant, Jose Rivas and Ryan Andrews.
