September 28, 1995 ~ December 11, 2025
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dennis, who left this world peacefully and entered the loving embrace of God, on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he is reunited in Heaven with his father and those who went before him. A Celebration of Life honoring Dennis will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Heritage Hall in Paris, TX. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance to share stories, reflect on his life, and celebrate the love and light he brought to all who knew him.
Dennis, the son of Robert Jameson and Julie Butler, was born September 28,1995, in Montrose, CO. Following in his father’s footsteps, he was a journeyman carpenter and spent many years as an independent contractor. Dennis enjoyed woodworking projects, weightlifting, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family. Throughout his life, Dennis faced every challenge with courage and grace, and he touched countless hearts with his kindness, loyalty, and gentle soul.
He lived with a remarkably generous spirit, one that continued even in his final moments. In accordance with his wishes as an organ donor, through this final act of love, two families received the miracle of renewed hope this Christmas. His gift of life reflects exactly who he was, a giver until the very end.
Though his time with us was far too short, the love he shared and the impact he made will echo forever in the lives of those who knew him. As we learn to move forward without Dennis, we ask that you continue to keep the family in your prayers. We take solace in knowing he is now at peace, bathed in God’s eternal light.
Survivors include his moms, Kelly Jameson, Julie Butler, siblings, Kelsey Turk & wife Ashley, Daniel Butler, Drake Gates, Dalton Gates, Dynah Gates, Jason Gates, aunts and uncles, John Jameson & wife Hilary, Debbie Cordoza & husband Tim, Susan Pereira & husband Carlos, Donna Butler-Gates & husband Steve, cousins, Terra Gates, Collin Gates, nieces, Audrina Turk, Annelise Turk, along with many others and a host of friends.
Dennis will be forever loved, remembered, and deeply missed.
Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
