

Denny Lee Hood, 67, of Paris, passed away February 22, 2015 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 26, 2015 at The Life Church with Reverend Lynn Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home. Denny was born February 27, 1947 in Paris to Ardrey Lee Hood and Mary Frances Chennault Hood. He was the owner and operator of Hood’s Truck Service, since 1980. Denny was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gerald Duane Hood. He is survived by his wife Judy Steelman Hood; four sons, Doug Hood & wife Terry, Gary Wlodarczak & wife Charlette, Marty Hood & wife Carolina and Scott Wlodarczak & wife Sarah; two daughters, Deneisa Beckley and Melissa Mulldune; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rodney Dale Hood & wife Sing and Lynn Hood & wife Mallie; one sister, Mary Ann Hood Reider & husband Mike along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Casket Bearers will be Steven Seibech, Austin Wlodarczak, Dustin Hood, Eric Loman, Gary Wlodarczak and Justin Horne. Honorary casket bearers will be Prentiss Reves, Matt Hood and Mike Hood.
