Faye Irby Francis

Faye Irby Francis, 89, of Paris, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17th, at Bridges Chapel Cemetery in Titus County with Rev. Michael King officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Francis, the daughter of Titus Ardell & Daisy Mae Adams Irby, was born Feb. 13, 1925, in Cooper, Texas. Faye’s career with Sears spanned twenty-seven years before her retirement. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Francis on June 23, 2003, a son, Jerry Lyndol Francis, a daughter-in-law, Vickie Lynn Francis, three sisters, Doris Barrow, Ruth Allen Ward and Sue Smith Wilkerson and one brother, Bruce Irby. Survivors include a daughter, Rita Hailey of Hurst, a son, Larry Francis of Paris, a grandson, Jerry Francis & wife Shannon of Roanoke, two great grandchildren, Ryleigh Francis and Kaitlyn Francis, siblings, Lyndol Irby & wife Bernice of Denison, Wanda Bailey of Ft. Worth, Galen Irby & wife Jane of AZ and Weldon Irby & wife Jami of Campbell along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
