Gail G. Thompson, 71, of Paris, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery. No formal visitation will be scheduled. Mr. Thompson was born September 13, 1944, in Paris, to D.C. and Mattie Dewese Thompson. He married Ruth Chapman on September 23, 1966, building over 49 years of family and memories. Mr. Thompson was of the Baptist faith. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Paris; one daughter, Wendy Cox & husband Ben of Robinson; grandchildren, Jonathan & Amy Cox of Robinson; two brothers, Max Thompson of Keller and Jimmie Thompson & wife Anita of Powderly; one sister, Jonell Conder & husband Neal of Powderly along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
