Herbert C. McKinney, III, 68, of Paris, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at his home. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Mr. McKinney, the son of Herbert C. McKinney, Jr. and Virgie Lee McFatridge McKinney, was born Nov. 9, 1948, in Paris. He graduated from Paris High School and attended Paris Junior College. He served in the U. S. Army in the 8th Infantry Division. Upon his honorable discharge he began a career with Campbell Soup Company where he retired. His parents and a brother, Thomas McKinney, preceded him in death. Survivors include three children, Russell McKinney and wife April, Kelli Murray, and Timothy McKinney, a brother, Warren McKinney & wife Marilou, a sister-in-law, Janice McKinney, grandchildren, Andrew McKinney, Jacob Foster and Zachery Murray, nieces, Michelle McKinney, Christy McKinney and Amanda Rice & husband Doug along with a host of friends.
