

Jimmy Dale “Jim” Bowman, 76, of Paris, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Dubuis Hospital. A gathering of family and friends is scheduled for Wednesday, April 12th, from 6-8 p.m. at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Following the visitation, cremation will be conducted under the continued care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Mr. Bowman, the son of Bennie F. & Inez Reed Bowman, was born March 31, 1941, in Lone Oak. He retired after forty years of service at Aramark Uniform Service and retired as an owner/operator of JB’s Insulation. Mr. Bowman was also a member of the Elks Lodge for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Linda Kay Bowman, a son, Terry Lynn Bowman, two sisters, Bobby Jean Stovall and Jeannette Riley and a brother, Bennie “June” Bowman. Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Owens & husband James of Deport, two sisters, Judy Schutz & husband Marty of Rowlett and Debra Burns & husband Joe of Rockwall, two sisters-in-law, Becky Mackie & husband Pepper of Aberfoyle and Joann Bowman of Amarillo, a brother-in-law, Jerry Easley of Houston, three grandchildren, Jayla Bowman, Josh Owens and Kalee Owens, a great granddaughter, Aliyah Kay, along with numerous nieces & nephews and friends.
