Karla Jo Miller

Karla Jo Miller, 64, of Paris, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017, at her home. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 19th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Pastor Guille Seigler & Rev. Jody Van Deaver officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Karla was born March 8, 1953, in Paris. She attended North Lamar High School. She worked a number of years as a unit secretary at L. P. McCuistion Regional Medical Center before beginning a career with Kimberly-Clark that spanned ten years. Karla was preceded in death by her father, Emmerson J. Morris, a son, Tony D. Wilkins, a grandson, Ethan Cox, her mother-in-law, Fay Miller, a sister, Carolyn Bowden and her uncle and aunt, Buddy and Peggy Hurst. Survivors include her husband, John Miller, her parents, Mary & George Pullins of Paris, two daughters, Gidget Wilkins & fiancé Delbert Lane Cox, Jr. of Brookston and Amie Jo Johnson & husband Steven of Pattonville, a daughter-in-law, Monica Wilkins of Sumner, step-children; Natalie Miller of Soper, OK, Ashlie Jenkins of Powderly and Mandy Renfro of Forest Chapel, grandchildren; Canyon Foster, Breaden Wilkins, Skylar Jo Johnson, Emma Wilkins and Hunter Cox, step-grandchildren; Jaycee Brooks, Hylan Hughes, Kamdyn Moree, Addicyn Saunders, Gauge Moree, Laynee Saunders and Kestin Hughes, her ex-husband, Donald Wilkins, siblings; Margaret Fair, Martha Parker, Linda Morris, Sherry Moss, Terry Morris, Michael Pullins and Aaron Pullins along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host friends. Casket bearers will be: Michael Pullins, Aaron Pullins, Jeffery Day, Steven Johnson, Stoney Johnson & Rayford Rucker. Buck Hilliard will serve as an honorary bearer.
