Larry Eugene Moore, 65, of Millsap, TX, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Medical City of Weatherford.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25th at the Evergreen Chapel in Evergreen Cemetery.
Larry, the son of Emmitt & Donnie Cannon Moore, was born December 26, 1956, in Dallas.
He grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas on his daddy’s farm.
Larry was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed deer hunting and golf. He was a member of the Grand Prairie Saddle Club and was active with the Assembly of God Royal Rangers. He loved his involvement with FFA where his grandchildren showed their projects. He enjoyed rodeos and especially watching his son rope.
Larry was a lifetime master electrician. For the past 18 years, he worked with his son at Stallion Electrical & Mechanical, Inc.
Larry was preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher Moore, his parents, Emmitt & Donnie Moore, and ten siblings, Helen Clark, Buddy Moore, Bobby Moore, Roy Moore, Edith Moore, Rosetta Moore, Ellen Turnipseed, Betty Cross, Noel Moore, and Janice Scott.
Survivors include his wife, Markeita Sugg Moore, whom he married on June 27, 1975, building 46 years of family and memories, two children, Nakeita Moore and Larry Eugene Moore, Jr. & wife Krysta, grandchildren, Lauren Moore, Kalli Moore, and Krece Moore, and a sister, Barbara Pyron Hoover along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
