Mae Bryant

Mae Bryant was given to us by God on February 2, 1940, and was taken home to be with the Lord on her 75th birthday, February 2, 2015. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Fangio officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery at Honey Grove. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mae, the daughter of Rev. John Mitchell Brown & Rosie Turner Brown, was born Feb. 2, 1940, in Kleburg, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Jim Jenkins and Bennie Bryant, Sr., a son, Mark Bryant, a grandson, Danny Ford, III, and all her brothers & sisters. Survivors include four children, Bennie Bryant, Jr. of Honey Grove, Carla Bryant Charles of Honey Grove, Tanja Jenkins Mitchell & husband Tim of Burlington, KY and John Jenkins & wife Tammi of Irving, ten grandchildren, April Howell Thomas & husband James, Michael Howell & wife Rosie, Stephen Bryant, Heather Bryant, Dustin Mitchell, Dalton Mitchell, Micaiah Pichon, Kanoi Pichon, John David Jenkins and Jessica Jenkins, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Casket bearers will be: Stephen Bryant, Dustin Mitchell, Dalton Mitchell, Michael Howell, Micaiah Pichon & Galen Garrison. John David Jenkins will serve as an honorary bearer.
