Mark McCloud

Mark Stephen McCloud, 61, of Paris, passed away Wednesday, July 08, 2015, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 10th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. David Farmer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11th, at Courtland Cemetery in Queen City. Mark, the son of Hansel Lee & Dorothy Jane Powell McCloud, was born Oct. 31, 1953, in Dallas. He began his career with Campbell Soup Company forty-one years ago, retiring this year as his health failed. At Campbell Soup he had filled many positions, but for over twenty-five years he had been an electrician. He received his electrician’s certification at Paris Junior College and then taught electrical courses at the college. Mark had a giving heart, always helping others. Survivors include a son, Mars McCloud & wife Michelle of Denison, a daughter, Ingrid Bowling & husband Brad of Houston, grandchildren, Alex McCloud and Samantha LaRue, a brother, Bruce McCloud of Atlanta, TX along with many friends whom he considered family.
